This capacitive height sensor and controller is designed to keep laser cutting consistent and reliable by controlling the distance between the nozzle and the workpiece surface. During the laser cutting process, factors such as uneven material surfaces or the high pressure of assist gas can cause the distance between the nozzle and the workpiece to fluctuate. This not only affects cut quality but may even damage the nozzle. Our fiber laser control system ensures a constant stand-off distance at high cutting speeds, protecting the nozzle from collisions and significantly improving cutting performance.
