Laser Cutting Heads for Reflective Metal Cutting
Laser heads for cutting copper, aluminum, stainless steel and other highly reflective metals

Metals such as copper, aluminum, brass, and polished stainless reflect a large share of the laser’s energy, so less power is absorbed and some of the beam is returned toward the optics and the laser source. To cut these materials reliably, the cutting head must pair high power density with stable beam delivery and protection against back-reflection. A specialized optical path is used to suppress return light and protect the laser. Using slightly lower feed rates and a small focus offset improves coupling and absorption, helping the cut remain stable and consistent.
Our laser cutting heads can meet the strict reflective metal cutting requirements with a multi-stage anti-reflection design, strong thermal management, and assist-gas shielding. Together, they reduce energy feedback and equipment wear while supporting high-energy output and dynamic autofocus. On high-reflectivity metals, our laser cutting heads maintain narrow kerfs, fast piercing, and edges free of dross, so quality stays steady across copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and similar materials. These capabilities are widely used in new-energy components, electrical equipment, and home-appliance manufacturing. Steady performance on reflective metals increases throughput and keeps part quality consistent from run to run.
